Thurston County Fair

July 31, 2013 was opening day at the Thurston County Fair, so we took the kids (except Anthony who is "too cool" to go out in public with us!) Caden was pretty nervous in the rides, even the "baby" ones, but Lariah was as fearless as ever!
The local sheriff had a booth for the kids to get their iris' scanned and put in a database. They said its way better than fingerprinting. So if they get lost their information is logged in the system.
They loved the animals and saw a mama pig with her baby piglets. They even got to see a newly hatched chicken!
All in all it was an amazing day. Now their next excitement is waiting the 2 weeks for Grandma and Grandpa McCurley to come visit!

Summer fun!

Danielle graduated with her AA on June 14th and in the 15th there was a graduation party at her aunts for her, her brother Jesse (who graduated high school!), and 2 cousins. The kids loved the sun and Lariah was like a fish, playing in the lake most of the day!

Hands On Children's Museum

Today I took Caden, Lariah and her friend Daijah to the Hands On Children's Museum. The kids had a blast and even got their faces painted. Caden's face is supposed to be painted like a Panda Bear, but he looks more like a ghost! When it was Lariah's turn they didn't have enough time to do her entire face, so she just got a mask in the pink and black zebra print she chose. We have a membership to the museum and they never get tired of going!

Lariah and Poo

Lariah loves her dog Poo! Here ate some pics of them sleeping! I think Poo likes Lariah a lot more asleep, cause when they are both awake she has a bad habit of bugging Poo! Lol!

Reading!

The kids love reading! Caden is already reading chapter books! He's obsessed with the Spiderwick Chronicles series! Lariah loves the library, we go 3-4 times a week! Anthony always has his nose in a book! Here's a picture of Caden and Mario reading, and another one of Lariah at the library.
